Dads Wknd
I've had a busy couple of weeks and must admit that I'm posting this entry entirely out of guilt. I have a nasty cold that is making it hard to keep focused on much of anything, but I've already missed a week of writing and I don't want to let another pass.

I've been extraordinarily busy since my last post. I made a weekend trip to Pullman for Dad's Weekend and then - after returning home for the Seahawks big win over the New York Jets - left immediately for three nights in Las Vegas where I attended the 2012 WOMMA Summit. Looking back, I suspect is was the cold game night in Pullman, the frat parties with Abby, the shouting at the Seahawks game, and the non-stop networking and talking at the Summit that brought my cold on in the first place.

A WOMMA Party
Somehow, despite the campus and banquet food that I've been dining on, I managed to show some progress in the weight loss department. It must have had a lot to do with all the walking we did to get from one place to another. I'll take it. Sometimes you can't explain why you succeed or fail.  And that's all there is for this week.

I hope to be back at full strength for a better post next week.
