Week 46 - 07/19/12

three weeks at the lake

Three consecutive weeks of vacation have come to an end.  We hosted friends and family from July 1st thru July 21 at our retreat on Lake Chelan. They came from Oregon, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Utah, and New Mexico. We had a good time with everyone that was able to be with us  and enjoyed all the boating, swimming, visiting and laughing.

We also enjoyed the food. From breakfast at Blueberry Hills Farms to the barbecues, pizza feeds, and all the rest. There was seldom a moment when something wasn't being cooked, snacked on, or presented as a meal. That's the good news.

The bad news is that my will power wasn't quite up for three consecutive weeks of toughness.  I didn't fall completely off the wagon, but I know that I came back several pounds heavier than I was at the first of the month. 

Despite morning and evening walks, workouts on the wave runner and paddle board, and eating a lot of fresh fruit, I still managed to arrive home heavier than when the month started. 

I wasn't able to weigh in last Thursday (no scale) so I'll keep you in suspense. I still have a few days to shed a pound or two before this coming week's weigh in.

My goal was to end July at the same weight that I began. I think there's still a chance!

The stats will be back next week.  And so will my focus!
