Week 32 - 04/12/12

Rod - Month 7

On a journey there will be some ups and some downs.

There are times when I'd rather talk about the month than the week. Can you guess when that is? Right on. It's after stepping off the scale and seeing my that my weight for the week has gone up in stead of down. That's just not my happy place. It makes me feel like I'm letting myself and so many of you down.

Isn't that crazy? Of course it is!

We all know that releasing weight and moving to a healthier life isn't going to be a series of linear losses each and every week. In fact, I feel pretty good that I've had less than a handful of weeks to report minor increases so far. Unfortunately, this is one of them. No matter how many times I stepped onto and off of that scale on Thursday, I couldn't record a weight that was lower than 265.6 pounds. A gain of just over 1 1/2 pounds since the prior weeks weigh in.

No excuses. Just another good reason to refocus and push forward to a lower weight next week.  Thanks for your continued encouragement and support!

By the way, I lost four pounds in the last month! (Had to get that in there!)
New weight as of April 12th - 265.6 lbs
Weight lost to date -  59.4 lbs
Weekly exercise: Elliptical Trainer 88 minutes and Brisk Walking 25 minutes.
