Why Join WOMMA?

WOMMA LogoLast week over five hundred marketing and communication professionals convened at the Cosmopolitan Hotel of Las Vegas to hear and discuss the latest trends and best practices in the discipline of word of mouth marketing.  The event was hosted by WOMMA (Word of Mouth Marketing Association) - considered by many to be the premier organization focused on this space.  As Board President (now Chairman) of WOMMA I had the privilege of welcoming and meeting many of the attendees, nearly 20% of which reported that they were first timers at a WOMMA event.

WOMMA continues to be the best choice for brands and service providers when it comes to education, information, networking, and ethical best practices.  It's hard for me to imagine what I would do without access to all the benefits that comes with my company's membership.

Members are able to:
  1. Mix with thought leaders and learn from valued best practice experiences
  2. Learn how to create truly talkable brands with online and offline engagements
  3. Network with great people and colleagues from throughout the country
So, as my term comes to an end at the end of the year, and with a record number of marketers attending WOMMA events, it occurs to me that we are only scratching the surface of membership opportunities. Why hasn't your company joined WOMMA? Maybe you haven't been invited. Maybe you don't know the benefits. Or maybe you just haven't gotten around to it.
