Cruising into the half year -26 week - goal!

Cruise Dining
There is no better place for willpower than on a cruise ship. No doubt about it. And my willpower seemed to get a boost knowing that I had all of your encouragement and support before I set foot on the ship. There's definitely something extra that can be drawn from the accountability that comes with public reporting too.

I'm incredibly pleased and proud to say that during the two week period which included the eight travel days of our recent cruise, I was able to lose an additional pound. It may not sound like much for two weeks, but it's exactly what I had set as a goal.

I had a great time on the cruise, ate some great meals, and had what I wanted to drink whenever I wanted it on and off the ship. I'm sure there were a lot of calories on the incoming side of the ledger so I made sure that I worked out in ship gym for at least 45 minutes every day. It all came together pretty well.

I'm keeping this post short and sweet this week as I'm working on a memorial video for my dear aunt Melba who passed away last night. Among the many things that will be missed our her delicious homemade buns that were one of the highlights of our family gatherings. They were always part of my weight problem and I wouldn't have it any other way.
