Winery WalkWalkin' Off The Plateau

Those of you who have followed my weight release and healthy edge journey are aware that I have been able to string several months of positive reports together - especially in the early months. While it wasn't easy,  the sustained success seemed to become an expectation.  And then I hit that nasty plateau - several weeks that felt like months without any noticeable improvement.

Last week, I added a special sundae to my breakfast menu that promises to increase morning metabolism rate and break through the plateau. I also reemphasized my commitment to walking the talk. And I mean that quite literally.

I've enjoyed getting outside in the fresh air and walking at least 30 to 45 minutes each day. I've walked during my lunch hour at work, thorough our neighborhood park in the evenings, and most recently along the shore and into the winery's of sunny Lake Chelan this past weekend. I feel like I'm continuing to build good and sustainable habits, and I'm very happy to report that I lost 3 pounds this week. A sign that the plateau just might be behind me. We'll see.
