A families collection of memories
I grew up with two amazing parents, George and Laurel Brooks and four wonderful sisters. I also had the good fortune to know and experience both of my grandmothers who lived until I was a teenager. But I never new my grandfathers and my own children didn’t have the opportunity to meet either of my parents.
This Christmas I collected some of the old memories that have been captured in photos of my grandparents, parents and sisters and created this video. I gave a copy to each of my sisters and children. It’s not as good as having the opportunity to really know them, but I hope it fills a small part of the void.
The songs in the video were some that we often heard my dad and mom sing while we were growing up.
